Driving license: how to pass the code (common theoretical test or ETG)?

You can pass theETG: titleContent :

• from 15 years in the context of early learning to drive,
• from 16 years for the classic formula.

Passing the exam costs €30.

This prize covers all the services necessary for a single pass of the theoretical test (code), including the registration and delivery of the attestation of result. Any other product or service may be charged, such as a training fee.

Payment must be made before registration for the exam, online on the website of the approved center.

If the code fails, you must repay this amount.

To pass the code, you need a permit file number: the harmonized prefectural registration number (NEPH).

Prepare the following documents, either photographed or scanned:

• Proof of identity
• Proof of address less than 6 months
• 1 photo id or 1 digital photo-signature
• If you are under 21, copy ofASSR: titleContent of 2^nd level or theASR: titleContent, or failing that (e.g. in the event of loss) declaration on honor
• If necessary, medical advice (form cerfa no. 14880)
• For a minor or under legal guardianship, 1 copy of the proof of identity of his legal representative

• Documents related to Defense and Citizenship Day (DCD) if you are French, aged between 17 and 25: individual certificate of participation (CIP) in the JDC, or individual certificate of exemption, or certificate of administrative situation issued in the event of deterioration, loss or theft, or provisional certificate of situation, including postponement, vis-à-vis the national service.

• If you are a foreigner, proof of regularity of stay or, if you are exempt from a residence permit, proof of your presence in France for at least 6 months (payroll, rent receipt, etc.).
