Aid for the B France Travail permit is abolished as from 1er April 2026. That's what the deliberation n°2025-48 of 27 november 2025.

Are you at least 16 years old and are you a job seeker with or without benefits? You benefit from a personal training account (CPF). Just create it even if you have never worked. The CPF identifies acquired rights to training. Your CPF is not powered during your period of unemployment. To know your acquired rights, log in directly to your CPF account. We explain the rules to know.
Yes, even if you've never worked before, you can create your CPF. It will be credited with 0 euro. However, its creation allows a third party (example: France Travail) toabound.
The creation of the CPF is possible whether or not you are compensated by France Travail.
If you were an employee before your registration with France Travail, your CPF is credited in euros. Indeed, the CPF is attached to your person and not to your status.
To create your CPF, go to My training account in the section dedicated to account creation:
To create this account, you need to know your Social Security number. It appears on your Vitale card.

Once set up, the Personal Training Account (CPF) is accessible on the same My Training Account online service.

- Training you can benefit from
- Methods of financing training that you can benefit from.

These are training courses aimed at in particular the following objectives:
- Acquisition of knowledge and skills base
- Support for the validation of experience
- Competency assessment
- Acquisition of skills necessary for the performance of the missions of volunteers or civic service
- Acquisition of a qualification (diploma, professional title, professional certification, etc.)

Training in the acquisition of skills for create or resume a company must lead to a certification so that the CPF can be used.
In addition, the financing of preparedness for theoretical and practical tests of a conditional driving license is possible.

The terms of use of the CPF vary depending on whether or not your CPF rights are sufficient to fund the training.

Sufficient CPF rights
You select from the catalog of all the courses eligible for the CPF the course you are interested in.
Then, you complete directly online your registration file in training.
You pay for your training yourself via your CPF.
Your training entitlements are deducted: your CPF then displays the new amount of your available entitlements.
Since February 26, 2026, 3 shares are subject to a maximum use of your rights registered on the CPF:
- Actions sanctioned by certifications and authorizations recorded in the specific directory (examples: CACES, electrical clearances, TOEIC, IT certifications) except Key
For these actions, you can use maximum €1,500 of your CPF. - Skills checkups: you can use maximum €1,600 of your CPF.
- Preparations for the theoretical and practical tests of the categories of land motor vehicles of the light group (permit B, B1, BE, A1 and A2): you can use maximum €900 of your CPF.
Insufficient CPF rights
In this case, you can use all your acquired rights to finance part of the cost of your training.
The other part may be financed by abundances other actors (examples: France Travail, the region).
This demand for supplements can be done directly via My training account.
Since February 26, 2026, 3 shares are subject to a maximum use of your rights registered on the CPF:
- Actions sanctioned by certifications and authorizations recorded in the specific directory (examples: CACES, electrical clearances, TOEIC, IT certifications) except Key
For these actions, you can use maximum €1,500 of your CPF. - Skills checkups: you can use maximum €1,600 of your CPF.
- Preparations for the theoretical and practical tests of the categories of land motor vehicles of the light group (permit B, B1, BE, A1 and A2): you can use maximum €900 of your CPF.
No acquired CPF rights
Actors (examples: France Travail, the region) can abundances on your CPF.

The rules differ depending on the length of your training: less than or more than 40 hours.

Training less than or equal to 40 hours
You don't change categories. You continue to be a jobseeker and to receive the benefit as a jobseeker (example:return-to-work assistance allowance).
Training of more than 40 hours
If the total duration of your training is more than 40 hours, you change your registration category to France Travail.
You become a vocational trainee.
The training is fully funded with CPF fees
The situation varies depending on whether the Return to Employment Assistance (RHE) is paid or not.
The person collects the WFAA
You continue to receive the same amount under thereturn-to-work training allowance (AREF).
If your return-to-work allowance (RTA) stops before the end of your training, talk to your counselor.
Other
It is recommended to ask your France Travail advisor.
The training is funded with additional funding outside France Travail
The situation varies depending on whether the Return to Employment Assistance (RHE) is paid or not.
