You are (or will be) a student: financial aid

• If you enter higher education after obtaining the mention Very good at the bac and you have obtained a scholarship on social criteria, you are entitled to merit aid. The annual amount of aid shall be €900.
• If you have just obtained the baccalaureate and are entering higher education outside your academy of residence, you can, under conditions, benefit from Mobility aid Parcoursup. Its amount is €500.
• If you are experiencing material difficulties in pursuing higher education, you can obtain a scholarship on social criteria (BCS). Its amount is variable. You can make an estimate of your entitlement to the BCS using a simulator.
• If you are not entitled to the BCS, but you are experiencing financial difficulties, you can obtain it under several conditions the annual specific aid. If the financial difficulties you are experiencing are temporary, you can ask one-off assistance. The amount of such aid varies.
• If you receive the BCS, have just obtained a license and wish to enroll in Master 1 in another region, you can obtain Mobility assistance for enrollment in Master 1. Its amount is €1,000.
• Regional councils also pay student aid under certain conditions.
• If you are studying overseas, overseas departments and local authorities can pay you one or more financial aids.

Several organizations can help you with your expenses related to a moving, to the renting a home, on payment of billsetc.

Since May 4, 2026, the meal at €1 is available for all students in Crous restaurants. You have to have a active Izly account.

• Some regions also offer help to finance your complementary health or mutual insurance at reduced rates. Learn more about the website of your regional council.
• Under certain conditions, you can get the complementary health solidarity (C2S). It covers health costs that are not reimbursed by the Health Insurance.

As a student, you can benefit from discounted rates and specific offers to travel by public transport.

Several devices make it possible to obtain a financial assistance to pass the driving license.

If you want to buy (or rent under a contract of at least 2 years) a new electric vehicle, you can benefit from a help.

If you receive a scholarship based on social criteria or an annual Crous aid or the Disabled Adult Allowance (AAH), you can benefit from a deduction of €50 if you register for a sports club.
