Are you moving soon? We present the financial assistance that can be obtained on this occasion. Entitlement to each aid is subject to varying conditions. The list of aids is different depending on whether you will be a tenant, roommate or owner of your future home.

To be eligible for family benefits, a child must be the actual and permanent dependent of the recipient (parent, guardian, etc.). If he works, his remuneration must not exceed 55% of the minimum wage.

      Tenant

      You may be entitled to a personal housing assistance. It allows you to reduce the amount of your rent (or your royalty if you live in a household).

      A simulator shows whether you are entitled to this assistance. It differs depending on whether you depend on the general plan (Caf: titleContent) or the agricultural scheme (MSA: titleContent):

      Via the device called Advance Loca-PassAction, Housing can pay for you on security deposit which is requested by the owner of the dwelling.

      You can get the Loca-Pass advance if you are in at least 1 of the following situations :

      • Employee or pre-retiree of a private sector company
      • French State scholarship student
      • Student employee with a fixed-term contract of at least 3 months in progress at the time of application
      • Student employee having had 1 or more fixed-term contracts for a cumulative duration of at least 3 months during the 6 months preceding the application
      • Student employee with an internship agreement of at least 3 months in progress at the time of application
      • Person under 30 years of age and in vocational training (apprenticeship contract or professionalization contract)
      • Person under 30 and looking for a job
      • A person under 30 years of age with a non-permanent job (individual, contract, auxiliary, etc.), regardless of the sector (private or public).

      If you are an employee or pre-retired from a company of private agricultural sector, you can ask the Agri-Loca-Pass advance.

      The FSL: titleContent can help you pay for the costs of installing in your new home. For example, the payment:

      • the security deposit,
      • the first rent,
      • real estate agency fees,
      • moving costs,
      • home insurance,
      • the purchase of essential equipment (e.g. refrigerator).

      LSF assistance can be paid as a loan (to be repaid to the LSF), or as a grant (without repayment).

      If you have 3 dependent children (born or unborn), you move between 1er day of calendar month that follows the end of your 3e month of pregnancy and the last day of the month preceding 2e birthday of your last child and you are entitled to the personalized housing assistance (APL) or the family housing allowance (ALF) for your new home, you are entitled to the moving allowance.

      If you are enrolled in Parcoursup and you are entering a higher education institution outside your home academy, you may be eligible for Parcoursup mobility assistance under certain conditions.

      If you are a student, enrolled in the first year of a master's degree in an academic region different from the one where you obtained your bachelor's degree, you may be entitled to mobility assistance in a master's degree under certain conditions.

      If you are under 30 years old and are on an apprenticeship or professionalization contract in a non-agricultural private sector company, you can benefit from Mobili-Jeune support.

      It allows you to cover part of your rent (or fee for home-housing) during your work-study training.

      The aid is paid if you meet several other conditions.

      If you work in a company in the agricultural sector, you can apply for Agri-Mobili-Jeune support.

      If you are a seasonal farmer, up to €600 can you be paid for your accommodation costs (rental, bed and breakfast, cottage, homestay, etc.).

      If you have just entered the State Civil Service as a trainee or incumbent civil servant, you can obtain installation assistance for State Personnel (AIP) under certain conditions:

      If you perceive the disability compensation benefit (PCH)However, your costs of moving to an accommodation that meets accessibility standards can be covered.

      This support is up to €3,000 per 10-year period.

      If you are retired, your main pension fund and/or supplementary pension fund may provide you with financial assistance for your move. Ask in advance at each organization.

      Some municipalities may pay social assistance for the move. You must contact the town hall or the communal social action center (CCAS) of your arrival city.

      Roommate

      In case of flatshare, you can receive housing assistance. The rent taken into account for the calculation of the aid is then divided according to the number of roommates. Each roommate must make their own request for housing assistance.

      FYI  

      In case of roommate, the amount of the security deposit is divided between each roommate. The Loca Pass advance only covers the co-payment the security deposit due from every roommate who requests it.
