What are Talent Scholarships?

If you are registered in a Talent Preparation or Talent Journey training courses, you are entitled to the scholarship.

Talent Pre-Passes and Talent Paths are intended for students and job seekers, selected under conditions of resources, merit and motivation. They prepare them for certain public service competitions. In particular, each student benefits from enhanced tutoring.

These training courses are integrated into public service schools, universities, institutes of political studies, or general administration preparation centers or institutes (CPAG or IPAG).

There is no process to be carried out.

Your institution sends the list of students enrolled in Talent Preparation or Talent Path to the regional prefect, at the latest within one month of the start of schooling.

The scholarship is automatically awarded to you by the prefect.

The scholarship is awarded for a maximum duration of1 year.

Exceptionally, it can be renewed once, subject to conditions, if you complete a second year of training in Talent Preparation or Talent Path.

The amount of the scholarship is €5,000.

The Talents Scholarship is paid in 2 times.

€2,500 between the start of the school year and the end of November and €2,500 starting in march.

To obtain the second installment of €2,500, the following documents must be sent to the regional prefect:

• Attestation of attendance the lessons and presentation to the examinations followed within the preparation. The institution in which you are registered sends this document to the regional prefect.
• Attestation of presence or transcript the tests for at least one of the competitions prepared as part of the Talent Preparation or Talent Journey. In the event that the tests of the competition concerned take place after the date fixed by the prefect of region for the transmission of the justifications, you must transmit a certificate of registration for this competition. If the entries for this contest are not yet open on this date, you must send a certificate on the honor of registering for it. In the latter two cases, you must send the regional prefect a certificate of attendance at the competition concerned as soon as it has taken place.

If the requested documents are not transmitted, the second payment of the Talents scholarship is suspended.

You need to follow the preparation diligently.

At the end of your preparation, you must also take the eligibility tests for one of the competitions for which state aid has been granted.

If you do not comply with these obligations, you must repay the amount of the scholarship.

The scholarship is cumulative with the scholarships on social criteria of higher education.
