What resources are taken into account for the calculation of RSA entitlements?

The amount of RSA: titleContent is calculated according to your resources and those of the members of your hearth.
The resources taken into account are as follows:
- Income from paid employment (salaries, bonuses, overtime, remuneration by Cesu pre-financed, severance pay, compensatory allowance for paid leave, compensation for noticeetc.)
- Income from self-employment
- Volunteer allowance in some cases
- Daily subsistence allowance maternity, paternity, adoption
- Daily subsistence allowance additional birth leave from 1er July 2026
- Daily subsistence allowance illness, accident at work, occupational disease
- Short-time work allowances
- Unemployment benefits (return-to-work assistance allowance, professional security allocation)
- Retirement pension
- Annuities and capital paid in the event of death
- Maintenance and compensatory benefits
- Compensation paid to victims of asbestos
- Exceptional resources (sale of a house, sale of a building, sale of land, inheritance, winnings at games, etc.)
- Investments (non-productive real income assets are considered to be fictitiously producing an annual income equal to 3% their amount (life insurance contract for example). On the other hand, Livret A is not affected by the 3% : you only have to report interest earned annually. Current account amounts are not included in the RSA calculation.
- Certain family benefits (for example: family allowances, family supplement, family support allowance)
- Disabled adults' allowance (AAH)
- Supplementary disability allowance, ASI
- Monthly flat-rate premium for resumption of activity
- Rents of a rented dwelling or building
- Rental value of a dwelling, immovable, premises or land not rented
- Allocation of child welfare as a trusted third party.
Please note
The net social amount shall be taken into account in determining the RSA lump sum.
These resources are differently taken into account according to your personal situation.
You must verify your pre-filled quarterly resource return, validate it and, if necessary, complete it with your other resources collected over the period (for example, child support).
