Family of 3 children and more: family supplement

What is the family supplement? It is a benefit paid under income conditions to people with at least 3 children all at least 3 years of age incriminating. There's no no gait to do to get it. The amount varies only according to the level of income. We present you the rules to know.
Conditions related to children
You must have at least 3 dependent children, all aged over 3 years and under 21 years.
Resource Conditions
Your resources must not exceed an amount determined according to your family situation.
It's the categorical net income of 2024 which is taken into account for 2026.

There are 2 revenues in the couple when each of the 2 receives professional income for an amount at least equal (in 2024) to €6,306
If the resources are just over the resource limit, you are paid a differential allowance.

If you live in a overseas department (Dom)However, the conditions of allocation and the amount of the family supplement are different. Information is available on the Caf website.
You do not have to take any action, because the tax authorities automatically transmit the information to the family allowance fund (Caf) or the agricultural social mutuality (MSA).
The declaration must be made only if this transmission has not been made.

The family supplement is paid each month from 3e birthday of your youngest child.
Its payment stops when the conditions for benefiting from it are no longer met.
Example :
You still have less than 3 children under 21 years of age, you have a new child under 3 years of age, the eldest of your family of 3 children was 21 years old.

If you change department, the MSA of your home of departure will automatically take care of the transfer of the file to your new caisse. This transfer will take place as soon as you register your new address.
