How to know the balance of points of your driver's license?

The service My points allowed allows to view online the number of points that you have on your driver's license :

In case of infringement having resulted in a points withdrawal, you receive a letter indicating the number of points lost and your balance.

You have lost some of your points

You receive a single letter (letter 48).

If you have probationary permit and commit an offense that results in removal of at least 3 points, you are informed by registered letter (48N) with AR: titleContent.

You've earned points

You receive a single letter.

You collect points in the following 2 cases:

  • You have not committed any offense for which points have been withdrawn during the reallocation period (letter 46)
  • You followed a road safety awareness course which allowed you to earn points (letter 47).

You've lost all your points

You receive a registered letter with AR: titleContent (letter 48 SI).

Your driver's license is no longer valid  : you are no longer allowed to drive.

You must return your license to your prefecture within 10 clear days following receipt of the letter.

Who shall I contact

Warning  

If the letter addressed to AR: titleContent was presented but was not recovered within 15 days at the post office, the notification of the letter is considered to have been completed.

Reminder

The address on the vehicle registration certificate () must be up to date. In case of change of address, the updating the certificate of registration must be done within 1 month.
