How to know the points balance of your driving license?

You can view the balance of points on the internet. You are also informed by post.

The service My points allowed allows to view online the number of points that you have on your driver's license :
By post
In case of infringement having resulted in a points withdrawal, you receive a letter indicating the number of points lost and your balance.
You lost some of your points
You receive a simple letter (letter 48).
If you have a probationary permit and commit an offense that results in removal of at least 3 points, you are informed by registered letter (48N) with : titleContent.
You've earned points
You receive a simple letter.
You collect points in the following 2 cases:
- You have not committed any offense punishable by a withdrawal of points during the reallocation period (letter 46)
- You followed a road safety awareness course which allowed you to earn points (letter 47).
You lost all your points
You receive a registered letter with : titleContent (letter 48 SI).
Your driver's license is no longer valid : you are no longer allowed to drive.
You must return your license to your prefecture within ten clear days following receipt of the letter.
Warning
If the letter addressed to : titleContent was presented but was not recovered within 15 days at the post office, the notification of the letter is considered to have been completed.

Reminder
The address on the vehicle registration certificate (vehicle registration certificate) shall be up to date. In case of change of address, the update of the certificate of registration must be done within 1 month.
