General case

You have 10 or more points on your driver's license

You can't lose your points at once.

Indeed, if you commit several infringements at the same time, it can be removed maximum 8 points, or 9 points in the event of driving after drug use if you are also under the influence of alcohol.

You have 9 points on your driving license

You can lose 9 points in one go in the event of driving after drug use if you are also under the influence of alcohol.

First year of probationary license

When you get the probationary driver's license, it contains 6 points.

During the 1re year of probationary license, you can lose your 6 points if you commit one or more infringements.

For example, a blood alcohol control indicating an alcohol level above 0.2g/l in the blood is an offense punishable by a 6 points off. The probationary permit is invalidated (zero balance).

If you lose 6 points during the 1re year of probationary license, you cannot not get them back.
