Have you crossed a toll gate or traveled on a toll freeway without paying and want to know if you risk a fine? We'll tell you what you need to know.

If you do not pay a toll, the operator of the motorway or the work of art draw up minutes of contravention and sends you a payment notice.

The notice of payment shall state the date, time and place of the contravention, the facts found, the registration number and category of the vehicle, the name of the officer who found the contravention, and the total amount payable.
