Motorway troubleshooting: what are the rules and rates?

In the event of a breakdown on a motorway, only an approved troubleshooting company is permitted to intervene. Rates are regulated.
On a highway conceded, only one Approved Troubleshooting company is authorized to intervene.
You must prevent the motorway operator who will contact the authorized convenience store.
You can use a emergency bollard to call him.
Please note
In the event of a breakdown, you must endeavor to clear the roadway as far as possible from the traffic lanes and ensure the vehicle advance warning.
The convenience store must arrive on the premises within 30 minutes of calling the emergency kiosk.
In the event of a minor breakdown, the convenience store takes care of the movement of the vehicle and its on-site repair.
If an on-site repair is not possible, the convenience store provides towing of your immobilized vehicle.
Your vehicle is towed:
- at the garage of the intervention vehicle,
- or, at your request, at a location less than 5 km from the motorway or expressway exit.

Troubleshooting with towing
Rates vary according to the time of the repair and the weight of the vehicle:

- Vehicle whose PTAC: titleContent shall not exceed 1,8 tons: €151.00
- Vehicle with a PTAC of more than 1,8 tons and less than 3,5 tons: €186.72.
Monday to Friday from 6 pm to 8 am, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
The price TTC: titleContent of the troubleshooting operation varies according to the weight of the vehicle:
- Vehicle whose PTAC: titleContent is less than or equal to 1,8 tons: €226.50
- Vehicle with a PTAC of more than 1,8 tons and less than 3,5 tons: €280.08.
