Verified 01 January 2026 - Public Service / Directorate of Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister)

What is the Single Integration Contract (CUI)? It combines training and/or professional support for its beneficiary and financial assistance for the employer. The CUI aims to make it easier to hire people who have difficulty finding a job. The Employment Support Contract (CUI-CAE) is aimed at the non-market sector and the Employment Initiative Contract (CUI-CIE) at the market sector. Here we explain the regulations you need to know.

FYI

The financial assistance received by the employer may vary depending on the region and the public receiving it.

CUI-EAC

The CUI is an employment contract concluded between:

The EAC-ITU is the contractual framework within which the Skills and Employment Journey (PEC) takes place.

The JEP shall include:

  • A tripartite interview that brings together the prescriber (examples: Cap emploi, France Travail), the employer and the future employee at the time of signing the request for assistance.
This interview allows the formalization of the commitments and the combination of the skills that the position should allow to acquire among the skills defined in an online form
  • Dematerialized monitoring during the contract, which can take the form of a booklet
  • An exit interview between the prescriber and the employee, depending on the needs of the person, between 1 to 3 months before the end of the contract.

Duration of the employment skills pathway

The target duration of a course is 12 months (one year) and the initial agreements cannot be less than 9 months.
