Please note

Upon receipt of your registration certificate, if you hold a national identity card (CNI) in bank card format, you can also download your digital certificate of registration in the application France identity.

You must keep the old certificate of registration for 5 yearsand then destroy it.

If your vehicle registration was in the form 123-AB-75, you will get a new registration registered in the Vehicle Registration System (VRS), in the form AB-123-CD.
