Family and social benefits: new amounts as of 1 April

Every year at 1er in april, family and social benefits as well as certain social minima are revalued according to the inflation rate of the last 12 months. Every year at 1er in april, a number of allowances and social benefits are upgraded. An interministerial instruction of 20 March 2026 fixes the new amounts for the metropolis, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Réunion, Saint-Bartelemy, Saint-Martin and Mayotte.

The annual revaluation level shall be determined on the basis of the consumer price index excluding tobacco.

The new amounts shall be effective from 1er April 2026.

Social benefits upgraded as of April 1, 2026

At 1er in april 2026, the following social benefits are upgraded to 0.8% :

Family allowances upgraded to April 1, 2026

The monthly basis for the calculation of family allowances (BMAF) is increased by 0.8% from 1er April 2026. It rises to €478.16 (vs. €474.37 since 1er April 2025).

Note that the resource ceilings for the allocation of complementary health solidarity (C2S) are also upgraded to 1er April.
