Family and social benefits: new amounts as of 1 April

Every year at 1^er in april, a number of allowances and social benefits are upgraded. An interministerial instruction of 20 March 2026 fixes the new amounts for the metropolis, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Réunion, Saint-Bartelemy, Saint-Martin and Mayotte.

The annual revaluation level shall be determined on the basis of the consumer price index excluding tobacco.

The new amounts shall be effective from 1^er April 2026.

Social benefits upgraded as of April 1, 2026

At 1^er in april 2026, the following social benefits are upgraded to 0.8% :

• active solidarity income (ASR) ;
• activity premium ;
• universal emergency assistance for victims of domestic violence ;
• Disabled Adult Allowance (AAH) ;
• specific solidarity allowance (SSA) ;
• daily support allowance for a person at the end of life (AJAP).

Family allowances upgraded to April 1, 2026

The monthly basis for the calculation of family allowances (BMAF) is increased by 0.8% from 1^er April 2026. It rises to €478.16 (vs. €474.37 since 1^er April 2025).

This affects the following allocations:

• family allowances ;
• Early Childhood Care Benefit (ECCB): birth bonus, adoption premium, basic allocation ;
• shared child-rearing benefit (PreParE) ;
• free choice of care (CMG) supplement: home care, micro-nursery, childminder ;
• family supplement (family of 3 children and more) ;
• family support allowance (FSA): orphaned child, child taken in, separated parents, unrecognized child ;
• back-to-school allowance ;
• child-rearing allowance for disabled children (AEEH) ;
• parental presence allowance (AJPP) ;
• moving premium ;
• lump-sum allowance in the event of the death of a child.

Note that the resource ceilings for the allocation of complementary health solidarity (C2S) are also upgraded to 1^er April.
