Parcoursup: it's soon time to take your wishes

The wish formulation phase in the Parcoursup platform starts in a few days. Public Service reminds you of all the key dates of the procedure and offers you a calendar to put in your agenda.

The main phase of the national pre-registration procedure for Parcoursup begins on 19 january. Candidates can make their registration wishes until 12 march (until 8 September for dual training). This step is essential for access to higher education training and must be completed within the prescribed time frame.

To memorize and see at a glance the key dates of the 2026 session, use the Parcoursup 2025-2026 procedure calendar module proposed by Public Service.

Reminder

The national platform for pre-enrollment in the first year of higher education is intended for high school students, students undergoing reorientation and candidates resuming their studies. The procedure follows a calendar in 3 steps organized as follows:

  1. Information and discovery of training by students (October 2025 - January 2026).
  2. Registration and creation of the file by the candidate (from January 19 to January 1)er April).
  3. Receipt of replies and decisions (2 June to 11 July).

Warning  

You will no longer be able to make wishes on Parcoursup after March 12, but you have until March 1er April to complete your application and confirm your wishes.

For candidates domiciled and schooled in Reunion : the deadline for formulating wishes is extended to March 19, to take account of school holidays in the academy.

Dates to remember

Monday, 19 January : opening of the inscription on Parcoursup and the formulation of wishes.

Thursday, 12 March : last day to express your wishes except for apprenticeships (until September 8).

Wednesday 1er april : last day to complete his file according to the requests of the trainings and to confirm his wishes.

Tuesday, 2 June : start of the main admission phase (students begin to receive the answers of the trainings).

From Friday 5 to Monday 8 June : classification of pending wishes.

Thursday, 11 June : start of the complementary admission phase.

Suspension of response times during written baccalaureate exams.

Tuesday, 7 July : administrative registration with the institution when a training course has been definitively accepted.

Saturday, 11 July : end of the main intake phase.

Thursday, 10 September : end of the additional admission phase.

What you find in Parcoursup

For each course, Parcoursup offers a detailed sheet to help the student in his choices:

  • information on the establishment and content of the training;
  • the criteria and procedures for applying (criteria for analyzing applications, advice on how to prepare an application, timetable for any selection tests with any costs);
  • the rate of access to the training (level of demand/selectivity, profiles of candidates admitted at previous sessions);
  • the rate of integration into employment with the training concerned.
