Your application must be accompanied by the following documents, which differ depending on whether you are a tenant or a residential resident:

Tenant

Your application must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • Double-sided copy of your national identity card or passport or fighter card (with photo) or valid residence permit
  • Bank Identity Statement (Rib)
  • Attestation from your landlord proving the use (for residential use), the area and decency of the dwelling, including on the basis of Energy Performance Diagnostic (EPD)and the amount of the rent
  • Declaration of resources

Resident

  • Double-sided copy of your national identity card or passport or fighter card (with photo) or valid residence permit
  • Bank Identity Statement (Rib)
  • Certificate of residence completed, dated and signed by the facility manager
  • Declaration of resources

Et après ?

Your APL application is tracked directly from your online account, where you can see the status of your file (pending, ongoing, or processed).

If your LPA file is complete, the average processing time for your application is 4 to 8 weeks (about 1 month to 2 months).

In case of denial of your LPA application, you have the opportunity to challenge the decision. The appeal is preferably made by email, but it may also be transmitted by paper mail, dropped off directly with your MSA or formulated by telephone.

E-mail

The approach differs depending on whether you are already an MSA recipient or not:

Recipient

You can challenge the decision by logging into your MSA account, My Account Area, section Contact my MSA by email.

The time limit for contesting the decision shall be 2 months from the date of notification rejecting your request.

You must indicate the reason for the challenge and attach (scan) the contested decision.

In case of rejection of your appeal or failure to respond within 2 months, you can resort to a mediation.

In case of failure, you can then refer the matter to the AMC (Amicable Appeals Board) of the MSA.

Non-recipient

You can challenge the decision by sending an email to the MSA:

You must indicate the reason for the challenge and attach (scan) the contested decision.

In case of rejection of your appeal or failure to respond within 2 months, you can resort to a mediation.

You can challenge the decision by mail.

Your mail should be sent to the MSA, preferably by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt:
