You have low resources? Complementary health solidarity (C2S) helps you with your health expenses. It replaces complementary universal health coverage (CMU-C). It allows you to be reimbursed for the additional part of your health expenses. This means that this aid covers what is not reimbursed by the Health Insurance. C2S is free or paid depending on your income. We explain the rules in metropolitan France and in the Dom.
What applies to you ?
General scenario
If you have low resources , the complementary health solidarity helps you for your health expenditure.
Thanks to the solidarity health supplement, your health expenses are reimbursed in full, within the limits of Social Security rates.
Warning
Without this help, you have to pay the complementary part, that is to say which is not reimbursed by the Health Insurance.
In addition to financial assistance, you are entitled to other benefits:
- No fee overruns
- In case of hospitalization, reimbursement of daily fee. This is the daily amount you normally have to pay for accommodation and food
