The « heating boost » bonus allows you to finance the replacement of a gas, coal or oil boiler with a more energy-efficient installation. Thus, you can use this financial aid for install including:

Since 1er September 2026, for the installation of a heat pump, the premium may only be granted if the chosen model has received an approval by the State. This approval shall be granted to heat pump models which have both:

  • obtained a European certification, guaranteeing their quality;
  • have been manufactured in EEE (for monobloc heat pumps, the final assembly of the refrigeration system must have taken place within EEE; and for split heat pumps, which consist of at least 2 separate units, the final assembly of at least one subassembly of the refrigeration system must have taken place within EEE).

The list of heat pump models currently approved has been established in an order of 2 July 2026.

Moreover, since the 1ster September, with regard to After the installation of a combined solar system, the « heating boost » bonus is conditional on the complete decarbonization, after works, of the heating system and/or for the production of domestic hot water. In other words, the works carried out must not lead to the install or maintenance of a heating and/or domestic hot water production system incorporating at least one piece of equipment capable of using fossil fuels.

Reminder

The « heating boost » bonus is for owners and tenants of a dwelling built more than 2 years ago (if you are a tenant, your landlord must authorize the works you wish to undertake).

The amount is not fixed. It depends on several criteria (the nature of the works to be undertaken, the level of your resources, etc.).

If you are eligible, you must contact an organization that is a signatory of the « coup de pouce » charter to benefit from the bonus. You can find the list of signatory companies on the website of the Ministry of Ecological Transition.

The advisors France Rénov' can, free of charge, check your eligibility and help you in the choice of your future installation.
