MaPrimeRénov': some draft works soon to be excluded from the scheme

MaPrimeRénov' is a state aid divided into 2 main routes:

• MaPrimeRénov' Journey by gesture, if you want to make one or more insulation, ventilation, heating works, etc.;
• MaPrimeRénov' Accompanied tour, if you are planning major renovation works.

These devices are accessible to owners, whether they live in the dwelling concerned by the energy renovation or they offer it for rent.

From 1^er September 2026, MaPrimeRénov' support for a major renovation can no longer be assigned if gas heating is retained after works. This evolution of the MaPrimeRénov' system, which concerns Renovation works carried out in single-family homes, is part of the Government electrification plan.

The document states that this measure will make it possible to « prioritize the most virtuous projects to get out of fossil fuels »; it also states that this « aims to avoid financing renovations that perpetuate households' dependence on gas, and therefore exposes them to future variations in gas prices ».

The MaPrimeRénov' Gesture-by-Gesture help is also evolving. From 1^er in september, you will no longer be able to benefit from this aid for install

• independent heating or domestic hot water supply equipment using wood or other biomass;
• a heat pump dedicated to the production of domestic hot water;
• a ventilation system;
• heating equipment;
• domestic hot water supply equipment running on solar thermal energy or with hybrid solar collectors (except in the French overseas territories, where it will still be possible to benefit from MaPrimeRénov' Parcours par gesture for the installation of this type of equipment);
• heating equipment running on solar thermal energy or with hybrid solar collectors.

Thermal insulation works are also excluded from 1^er September of the MaPrimeRénov' help Route by gesture (insulation of roofing crawlers, attic ceilings, terrace roofs, etc.).
