Volunteer missions are now open to all, from the age of 16, on the public volunteer platform JeVeuxAider.gouv.fr, subject to the condition that you reside in France.

This commitment allows to develop concrete skills useful for orientation (teamwork, project management, autonomy, personal assistance). It can be valued on the CV and in the folder Parcoursup en Terminale

Specific support for minor volunteers

Minors receive specific support to become volunteers:

  • each mission and each association is verified by a territorial referent who also ensures a close follow-up and can be contacted at any time;
  • the young person's schedule, rhythm and mental availability are respected, with flexible assignments (occasional or regular);
  • the missions cover areas of particular interest to adolescents: sporting or cultural events, environment, communication...

Become a volunteer from the age of 16

The different stages of a mission:

  • find a mission in line with its personality among the approximately 4,000 proposals open to under-18s;
  • offer help by writing to the organization;
  • become a volunteer after agreement with the head of the chosen organization and the legal representative of the adolescent;
  • enhance your commitment by requesting a certificate of participation in the volunteer mission. The young person can add this document in Parcoursup.

Finding a volunteer mission

The JeVeuxAider.gouv.fr platform connects people interested in a mission and associations looking for volunteers. The offers are varied:
