The increase in toll charges comes as part of the planned annual review of contracts between the State and the concessionaires. This average tariff change, applicable to passenger cars on the network of historic concession businesses, is implemented on 7 motorway networks licensed in France: the APRR, AREA, ASF, Cofiroute, Escota, Sanef and SAPN networks.

The increase in fares differs according to the network and the route taken, each motorway business applying its own increase.

The decrees setting the tariffs applicable on the various motorway networks have been published in Official Journal on 30 and 31 January 2026. Rates are also available on the websites of motorway businesses.

The following increases (applicable to category A1 light vehicles) can be observed:

  • APRR (including A5, A6, A19, A31, A36, A39, A42, A71, A75): +0.94% ;
  • AREA (including A43, A48, A49): +0.95% ;
  • BSO (including A7, A10, A62, A63, A64, A89): +0.62% ;
  • Cofiroute (including A10, A11, A85): +1.21% ;
  • Escota (including A8, A50, A51): +0.62% ;
  • Sanef (including A1, A4, A16, A26): +0.70% ;
