Yes, your minor child may have a bank account, a savings booklet or certain other savings products. However, the use it can make is limited and evolves with age.
From birth of your child, you can request the opening, in his name, of a bank account, of a booklet A, of a bank savings account, of a housing savings plan (PEL), of a Climate Futures Savings Plan (PEAC), or life insurance.
This opening can be done without the consent of the child.

Bank account
Your child will not be able to use the account before the age of 12 years.

Booklet A
Your child will not be able to use the booklet before the age of 12 years.

Bank savings account
Your child will not be able to use the booklet before the age of 18 years.
You are responsible for the funds and movements on your child's booklet.

Housing Savings Plan (PEL)
You are responsible for managing your child's ELP.
Your child will not be able to use the ELP until they are 18 years.
Climate Future Savings Plan (PEAC)
Funds placed on the PEAC are frozen until 18 years for a minimum period of 5 years from the opening of the savings plan.
Life insurance
You are responsible for the management of your child's life insurance up to 18 years.
From 12 years, your child may request the opening of a young booklet.
He can also deposit or withdraw sums on his bank account or his booklet. However, the amount and frequency of withdrawals may be limited. Your signature is required for withdrawal operations.

They can also withdraw the amounts listed on their livret A or livret jeune, unless you or their guardian object.
