Are you pregnant or have dependent children or are you a child and family medalist? You can apply for the national priority card of the family called priority card for access to public places. She gives a right of way priority in some public places (offices and counters of public administrations and services, public transport). The map is free of charge. The priority card gives you a priority right for access to the following places:

  • Offices and counters of administrations
  • Public services
  • Public transport.

To obtain the priority card, you must be in one the following situations:

You must apply for a priority card on free paper or by email with the family allowance fund (Caf) if you are covered by the general scheme or the agricultural social mutuality (MSA) if you are covered by the farm plan.

Who shall I contact

It is recommended to accompany your request a document justifying your personal situation. For example, full copy or extract with filiation of the birth certificate of each of your children.

Please note

If you are pregnant, your doctor or midwife performs the declaration of your pregnancy online and send it directly to the Caf or MSA. In this case, it is not necessary to provide proof of pregnancy to apply for the card. In case of a declaration not yet registered, proof of pregnancy may be necessary.

The map is free of charge.

The validity period of the card depends on your situation:

Pregnant woman

The card is valid for the entire pregnancy.

Person with dependent child(ren)

The card is valid for a period of 3 years.

Medalist of the family

The card is valid for a duration unlimited.

If you have dependent children, the card is renewable 3 years if the initial conditions continue to be met.

The priority card can be requested with each pregnancy.

You can request a duplicate with the Caf or the MSA.
