The town hall is obligatory of you deliver the following civil status documents:
- Birth certificate
- Marriage certificate
- Death certificate
- Family booklet in case of marriage or birth of the first child.
The town hall must also update family booklet if you ask him to.
In case of unjustified refusal of the city hall (for example, for a discriminatory reason) to issue you or update an act, you have different means to obtain the document you request:
Claims of grace
You can first perform a ex gratia with the town hall, which refused to issue or update your civil status certificate.
