It's time to apply for a scholarship and student housing

Are you a student, or will you be from next fall? If you wish to apply for a scholarship or housing in a university residence, you must create a student social file. For the 2026-2027 academic year, you can do this since March 2.

The Student Social Record (SDS) is a computer document that allows you to apply:

  • scholarships based on social criteria;
  • and/or accommodation in a Crous residence (Regional Center for Academic and Academic Works).

The EHR must be renewed every year. For the 2026-2027 academic year, you must prepare your application by the May 31, 2026 (the process has been accessible since 2 March).

Before you begin this procedure, you can use the simulator of the National Center for Academic and Academic Works (Cnous) you will be able to know if you are entitled to a scholarship, depending on the income of your home tax (the resources taken into account for the academic year 2026-2027 are those of the year 2024, listed on the 2025 tax notice).

The filing of an EHR is only possible for students who meet the regulatory conditions for applying for a scholarship on social criteria.

Please note

If you file your EHR after May 31, 2026However, your file will still be reviewed and processed, but possibly after the start of the academic year. The payment of the scholarship on social criteria may therefore be delayed.

However, special attention is given to the processing of applications from new students, even those submitted after the deadline.

How to build your student social file?

To build your EHR, you need to log in in the “MyServices.student” online service.

If you have already had an EHR in the past or if you have registered on Parcoursup in the last 4 years, you already have an account (email address and password).

If you do not have an account, you must create one with your INE (national student identification) number. This number can be found on your student card or on the baccalaureate registration confirmation form.

You must then follow the instructions given at each stage (help requested, study wishes, information about yourself, etc.); for your file to be validated, you must go to the last stage of the process.

At the end of your FSD entry, an email confirming your application is sent to you.

If your file is incomplete, you will also receive an email. You must then deposit the missing documents by logging into your account.

FYI  

Concerning the scholarship on social criteria, you will receive a conditional notification of award or rejection by email, no later than July if you have completed the process on time. The final award or rejection decision will be notified to you only after your enrollment at the university.

As for the Crous dwellingsHowever, the allocation of housing is done in 2 phases. A main phase is intended primarily for fellows and runs from 5 May to 29 June 2026. If you create an EHR, you will receive an ​ email in May indicating how to formulate your housing wishes on the site TROUVUNlogement.lescrous.fr. A complementary phase is open to all students; it takes place from July 7 and remains open as long as housing is still available.
