The request must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt (LRAR).

Et après ?

The public prosecutor has 2 months from the request to respond to the data subject. This reply shall be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.

In the event of rejection of his request for erasure, the person registered in Faed: titleContent can make a appeal to the president of the examining chamber. The same applies in the absence of a response from the public prosecutor.

The appeal may be made in a 10 days next:

  • The end of the period available to the public prosecutor to reply (2 months)
  • Or the receipt of the decision of the public prosecutor.
