Claim for compensation by a victim of a terrorist act

1. Indicate your identity information
2. Specify the facts of which you have been a victim (date, place, circumstances)
3. Describe the injury undergone
4. Join the documents necessary

Your application must be accompanied by the following documents:

• Copy of ID (national identity card, passport or residence permit)
• Copy of the initial medical certificate and the consolidation medical certificate if you have it
• Proof of costs already incurred as a result of the attack(hospital bill, pharmacy bills, etc.)
• Bank details

The ITGF will review your application and declare it admissible or inadmissible.

If it is admissible, the FGTI must pay you a provision within a time limit of 1 month according to your request.

The FGTI makes you a compensation offer within 3 months from the receipt of your complete file.

The offer of compensation may be challenged with the ITGF Compensation Officer.

If you do not find an amicable agreement, you can refer the case to the Judge of Compensation for Victims of Terrorist Acts (Jivat) of the Paris Court of Justice.
