The registry checks the records to see if an appeal has been filed.

If the registry has not recorded an appeal, it will issue you a certificate of no appeal.

If an appeal is recorded, the clerk will issue you a certificate of appeal.

In criminal matters, a certain period of time may be necessary, since the Registrar must ensure that the parquet notified the sentenced person of the decision if he or she was not present at the hearing and the appeal period has expired.
