Working time in the public service

The duration of the actual work is set at 35 hours per week and 1,607 hours per year. The organization of work may vary from one administration to another. Public officials may be required to work overtime, on-call duty or on call. Every agent is entitled to a time savings account (CET), which is funded by unused days off. Any staff member may also work part-time at his request.
