MaPrimeAdapt': work to adapt housing to the loss of autonomy

Do you want to adapt your home due to a loss of autonomy (for example, replace a bath with a shower)? You can benefit, under conditions (including resources), from MaPrimeAdapt' help. This mechanism makes it possible to finance 50% or 70% of your adaptation work. We present you the information to know.
Step-by-step approach
In order to benefit from MaPrimeAdapt', you must meet certain conditions.
Conditions related to housing
You can benefit from MaPrimeAdapt' if you are owner occupant or tenant of the private park.
The work to be carried out must concern your principal residence. The latter must be located in metropolis or in the overseas departments and regions (Drom).
FYI
Condominiums can benefit from MaPrimeAdapt' to finance works improving the accessibility of the building and relating to the common areas and common facilities. All works contributing to the accessibility of the common areas are eligible. The Anah takes care of 50% the amount of the work, up to €20,000 maximum per hall made accessible.

You are an owner occupant
To benefit from MaPrimeAdapt', you must respect one of the conditions following:
- You or a member of your household is 70 years of age or older, without any conditions related to loss of autonomy
- You or a member of your household are between 60 and 69 years of age, and are classified as iso-resources group (GIR)
- You or a member of your household have a disability rate of at least 50%recognized by the Commission on the Rights for the Autonomy of Persons with Disabilities (CDAPH) or the departmental service of the National Office of Veterans and War Victims (ONACVG) or you are eligible for the disability compensation benefit (PCH) or to the child-rearing allowance for disabled children (AEEH) or to Disabled Adult Allowance (DAA).
The MaPrimeAdapt' aid can be combined with the PCH - housing development aid.
You are a tenant
To benefit from MaPrimeAdapt', you must respect the conditions following:
- You rent a unit that is part of the private park
- You have obtained the agreement of your landlord to carry out work to adapt the housing to your loss of autonomy
In addition, you must also respect one of the conditions following:
- You or a member of your household is 70 years of age or older, without any conditions related to loss of autonomy
- You or a member of your household are between 60 and 69 years of age, and are classified as iso-resources group (GIR)

Resource Conditions
To benefit from MaPrimeAdapt' help, your resources shall not exceed modest or very modest income caps (whether you are a landlord or tenant).
It's the reference tax income (RFR) which is taken into account. It is indicated on your tax notice for the year preceding your application for assistance.
The resource limits to be respected differ depending on whether your home is located outside Île-de-Franceor in Île-de-France.

The adaptation works financed by MaPrimeAdapt' help concern all your housing and outdoor access. Among the fundable works, here are some examples:
Interior work
Indoor work may include:
- Electric stairlift
- Bathroom layout (grab bar, replacement of a bath by a shower, ...)
- Raised WC and grab bar
- Kitchen layout
- Motion-sensing lighting
- Widening of corridors.
External works
External works may include:
- Access ramp to the entrance of your house
- Parking space for people with reduced mobility
- Installation of roller shutters
- Widening of the front door.
The amount of your work will depend on your resources (very modest or modest).

Very modest
You can benefit from the support of 70% the amount of your work, up to a maximum of €22,000 excluding taxes.
Modest
You can benefit from the support of 50% of your work, up to a maximum of €22,000 excluding taxes.
FYI
MaPrimeAdapt' can be combined with local aid, PCH and aid for energy renovation. It is recommended to contact your local town hall to learn more about local aid.
With MaPrimeAdapt', you get a accompaniment to help you develop and conduct your work project.
This support is carried out by a project management assistant (AMO) approved or authorized by Anah.
It aims to simplify your MaPrimeAdapt' journey, from the development of your adaptation project (autonomous housing diagnosis to determine your needs, contact with craftsmen, etc.) to the payment of MaPrimeAdapt' assistance.
If you do not know an AMO, a list of AMO near you, will be proposed to you when creating your MaPrimeAdapt' folder.

Warning
If you are a tenant, you must apply for MaPrimeAdapt' assistance from the “ I'm an owner-occupant ».
You must wait until you receive the agreement of the Anah giving you MaPrimeAdapt' help to carry out the work.
The AMO accompanies you in the monitoring of the works carried out by the selected craftsmen.
At the end of the work, you must send the Anah the invoice of the craftsmen who carried out your work to request the payment of the aid.
Your AMO accompanies you in the constitution of this payment request. The work carried out must be in accordance with the estimate.
Once the aid has been paid, you must pay the craftsmen who carried out the work.
