Can I use my mobile phone in middle school or high school?

At the college
A pupil is not allowed to use his mobile phone in the school during classes and outside classes (especially during recreation).
The use of the telephone is also prohibited during teaching activities outside the institution (including the gym).
A student cannot use his phone to replace his calculator or to know the time.
He may use his telephone in the circumstances and places provided for by the rules and regulations of the establishment, in particular for educational use.
Management, teaching, education or supervisory personnel may confiscate mobile phone of a pupil in case of unauthorized use. The rules and regulations of the establishment lays down the rules for confiscation and return of the telephone.
Please note
A student with a disability or a debilitating health condition may use connected equipment if his or her state of health requires it.
In high school
Using a mobile phone is forbidden in high school, as well as during any teaching-related activities that take place outside of high school.
There are, however, exceptions, including:
- The high school can include in the rules and regulations of the establishment of derogations from the ban in order to respond to local realities. For example, they may be educational or necessary for the proper functioning of the establishment (in particular within the documentation and information center, the catering service or the boarding school).
- In a high school with higher education courses, the rules and regulations may make special arrangements for students.
