Free oral exams and dental care for young people (M'T Dents every year!)

What is Teeth me every year! ? These are oral prevention exams aimed at promoting regular follow-up in young people, to improve their oral hygiene and their eating habits. People from 3 to 24 years old benefit every year a preventive examination and the necessary care. These free exams are open to all minors and young adults attached to the Health Insurance, regardless of their nationality. We're outlining the regulations.

The funds of certain health insurance schemes may offer identical examinations to other groups (seniors...).)

In addition, an oral prevention program has been put in place for women during pregnancy.

This examination must include:

  • A search for risk factors (thumb sucking, consumption of sugary and/or acidic foods, snacking, lack of brushing, tobacco, other addictions...))
  • Oral examination (teeth and periodontium)
  • Prevention advice based on age (examples: brushing, feeding).

If necessary, the examination may be supplemented by:

  • X-rays
  • Complementary care
  • The establishment of a treatment plan or care program.

Please note

The orthodontic treatments are excluded from this scheme. If the dental surgeon offers these treatments, he must inform about the rates and refunds.

Anyone from 3 to 24 years old benefits from this review every year. It does not matter whether it depends on the general scheme (CPAM: titleContent) or agricultural (MSA: titleContent).

Make an appointment with a dental surgeon (usual or near you) and remind them that this is an appointment M'T dents every year!.

During the appointment, you must present:

  • The Vitale card of the young person if he has one or that of one of the two parents
  • The card or certificate of the youth's health insurance or that of the parent to whom it is attached.

Do not forget the child health record so that the dental surgeon can complete it.

One invitation reminding each year this free appointment is addressed to parents until the 17 years of the child, then directly to young people from 18 years.

This invitation is sent:

  • By post every 3 years, 6 years, 12 years and 18 years of the child
  • By email to all other ages.

This invitation is not mandatory to benefit from an appointment " M'T dents every year! ».

Simply present your Vital Card and your health insurance. By making an appointment, you must specify that it is within the framework of " M'T dents every year! ».

The cost shall be borne by:

  • Health insurance up to 60%
  • Your complementary at the height of 40%.

FYI  

In the absence of complementary health (mutual), this appointment and care are taken care of in full by the Health Insurance.

There is no advance charge:

  • For this exam
  • And for dental care carried out within 6 months after this examination except the inlay-onlay, prosthetic care and dental-facial orthopedics.

Reminder

Orthodontic treatments to correct a malposition of the teeth and prostheses are not offered as part of Teeth Me every year! .

If the dentist offers these treatments, he must inform about the rates and refunds.
