Handing over the card

The card is given to you by the prefecture or sub-prefecture of your home (depending on the place where your application is submitted).

If the administration has not responded within 4 months, your card application is refused.

Cost

You have to pay €75 (stamp duty of €25 + tax of €50) by tax stamps.

Proof of payment of stamp duty and tax is requested when the card is handed over.

The residence certificate is valid for 1 year. It is renewable.

It allows you to work to the maximum 50% the annual working time in the branch or profession concerned, provided that a work permit.

You must have a long-stay visa "intern" to come to France to follow an internship or training.

You must have sufficient means of subsistence (scholarships or other resources, of at least €615 per month).

Certificate request

You must apply for your residence certificate at the prefecture (or sub-prefecture) of your home.

If your file is complete, you will receive a receipt pending the response of the prefecture.
