What applies to you ?
In principle, you can't pitch have several French passports.
However, a second passport may exceptionally be issued in 2 situations:
- You are traveling for business reasons and your passport is held for a period during which you must travel
- Your passport may reveal incompatible destinations

Your passport may be tied up for a period during which you must travel.
For example, the passport can be kept by the consulate for a visa application when you need it to travel.
The documents to be submitted are the documents to be provided for all passport renewal, as well as the documents attesting to your situation (airline tickets, employer's certificate, etc.).

In France
Depending on the department, you must go either to the prefecture (or sub-prefecture) or to a town hall equipped to issue biometric passports.
