Are you between 16 and 25 years old, out of school and unemployed? The school of the 2e chance offers you paid training to integrate you into working life. Here is the information you need to know about this device.

The school of the 2e chance aims to tackling early school leaving. It helps you to access to a qualifying training and to integrate the labor market.

You participate in the development of your training and social and professional integration project.

The training includes upgrade of basic knowledge (mathematics, French, computer science).

You also follow internships in company and individualized learning. These internships allow you to discover professions and build a professional project.

One charter of second chance schools specifies the educational means used by the device.

To join a school of the 2e luck, you have to fill in the 3 criteria following:

  • Be between 16 and 25 years old. The maximum age is extended to 30 years if you have been recognized as a disabled worker (RQTH).
  • Have left the school system for at least 1 year, with or without a diploma
  • Being unemployed.

You can join a school in the 2e luck whatever your nationality.

Registration is done throughout the year.

You must choose a school from those of the network labeled schools of the 2e Contact her to participate in a group information meeting and an individual interview.

If the interview is positive, your registration is finalized.

The training takes place in the premises of the school of the 2e chance and on the sites of partner companies.

The route is variable according to your needs.

In any case, it takes place in 5 stages:

  • Evaluation and training plan with a period of gradual integration
  • Discovery of professions, internships in companies and consolidation of basic knowledge
  • Confirmation of the professional project with the acquisition of professional gestures
  • Preparation for employment and training
  • Follow-up and support up to 1 year after the E2C release.

You pass 40% training time in partner companies to be able to discover professions and choose an orientation.

The training course generally lasts for 4 to 18 months. This depends on the time needed to acquire sufficient knowledge and skills to integrate into working life.

Teaching and training are free.

Transport, accommodation and catering issues must be addressed at the time of registration so that the school can find solutions (e.g. by contacting the local mission).

You receive, on average, €500 per month if you have over 18 years old.

If you are between 16 and 18 years old, the average salary is €200 per month.

The amount varies depending on your situation. Social protection (sickness, maternity, accident at work) is included in your remuneration.

This remuneration is financed by the region.

At the end of the course, a certificate of acquired skills is issued.

Your experience in a school in the 2e luck can allow you to find a integration assistance contract, one apprenticeship contract, one professionalization contract or qualifying training.
