The Christmas bonus is an exceptional help lump sum paid to persons who receive certain social minima.
The premium shall be paid in only once per household.
In 2025, the premium is paid on December 16 2025 :
- For beneficiaries of the active solidarity income (ASR), the specific solidarity allowance (SSA) or the pension equivalent allowance (AER) in November 2025.
- For the beneficiaries of these aids and whose entitlement started in December 2025.
In metropolitan France and the overseas departments
The Christmas bonus is paid if you received one of the following benefits for November 2025 or December 2025:
- Active Solidarity Income (SSA)
- Specific Solidarity Allowance (SSA)
- Retirement equivalent allowance (AER).

The amount of the premium depends on the composition of your family.

The Christmas bonus is not taxable, you do not have to declare it to taxes.
You receive the SSA or AER
The amount of the Christmas bonus is fixed.
The lump sum is €152.45.
The premium is paid automatically by France Travail (formerly Pôle emploi): you don't have to do anything.
Make sure your personal information (address, family situation, bank account) is up to date to collect the premium.
The Christmas bonus is not taxable, you do not have to declare it to taxes.
In Mayotte
