New €1,000 premium for the purchase of an electric vehicle produced in Europe

From 1er in october 2025, an additional premium of €1,000 is added to the existing aid for the purchase or rental of a new electric vehicle. Service-Public.fr informs you about this new premium for the purchase of an electric vehicle meeting european production criteria.

This €1,000 bonus is added to the ecological bonus financed by the energy saving certificate scheme (CEE) since 1er July 2025.

Conditions of eligibility

In order to benefit from this premium, the vehicle must:

  • be assembled in the European Union;
  • be equipped with a battery manufactured within the European Economic Area.

Total amount of aid

This premium is in addition to the aid paid through the Energy Savings Certificates (EWC).

The total aid for the purchase or rental of a new electric vehicle can thus reach, if the vehicle meets the European production criteria:

  • up to €5,200 for modest households;
  • up to €4,100 for other households.

The premium of €1,000 can be deducted directly from the purchase price or the first rent by the professional, or requested from an energy supplier.

Which vehicles are eligible?

The vehicle must meet the European production criteria (assembly and battery) and reach the minimum environmental score required to benefit from the additional premium.

Eligible vehicles include: Renault Mégane E-Techn, Peugeot e-208, Volkswagen ID.3, Skoda Enyaq, Fiat 500e, etc.
