Zone A: Besançon, Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Grenoble, Limoges, Lyon, Poitiers

Zone B: Aix-Marseille, Amiens, Lille, Nancy-Metz, Nantes, Nice, Normandy, Orléans-Tours, Reims, Rennes, Strasbourg

The dates of school holidays depend on the area where the school is located. Metropolitan France is divided into 3 academic zones (A, B and C).

For the academies of Corsica, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte and Reunion, and for Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, the dates of the school holidays are fixed by the rectors of the academy. This article will be completed as soon as they are published.

The departure on vacation takes place after class, the resumption of classes on the morning of the days indicated. The holidays start on Saturday, for students who do not have classes that day, the departure takes place on Friday after classes. Adjustments may be made, in particular because of the end-of-year exams at the college or high school.
