School holidays: the calendar for 2026-2027 has been published

The 2026-2027 school calendar was set by an order of 22 October 2025.

The dates of school holidays depend on the area where the school is located. Metropolitan France is divided into 3 academic zones to which must be added the Corsican academy:

• Zone A: Besançon, Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Grenoble, Limoges, Lyon, Poitiers.
• Zone B: Aix-Marseille, Amiens, Lille, Nancy-Metz, Nantes, Nice, Normandy, Orléans-Tours, Reims, Rennes, Strasbourg.
• Zone C: Créteil, Montpellier, Paris, Toulouse, Versailles.

School holidays 2026-2027

The start of the holidays takes place after class and the resumption of classes, on the morning of the days indicated. Adjustments may be made, particularly because of the end-of-year exams at the college or high school.

• Back to school for the 3 zones : Tuesday, 1^er September 2026.
• All Saints' Day holidays (common to the 3 zones) : from Saturday 17 October to Monday 2 November 2026.
• Christmas holidays (common to the 3 zones) : from Saturday 19 December 2026 to Monday 4 January 2027.
• Winter holidays :

Zone A: from Saturday 13 February to Monday 1^er March 2027

Zone B: from Saturday 20 February to Monday 8 March 2027

Zone C: from Saturday 6 February to Monday 22 February 2027

• Spring break :

Zone A: from Saturday 10 April to Monday 26 April 2027

Zone B: from Saturday 17 April to Monday 3 May 2027

Zone C: from Saturday 3 April to Monday 19 April 2027

• Summer holidays : from Saturday, July 3, 2027.

In 2027, classes will start on Friday, May 7.
