Expired holiday vouchers: you can exchange them until March 31

Train ride, hotel overnight, camping stay, entrance to leisure park or museums... Holiday vouchers allow you to pay for many services. If you still have holiday vouchers issued in 2023, you have until March 31, 2026 to exchange them.

The holiday voucher is a device of the National Agency for Holiday Vouchers (ANCV) for social purposes. It allows private sector employees and civil servants throughout the year to pay for part of their holidays or leisure time with ANCV-approved providers or online booking sites. It can be used in France or within the

The holiday voucher has a validity period of 2 years in addition to the year of issue.

Checks issued in 2024 are valid until December 31, 2026.

Reminder

The holiday voucher can be in the form of:

  • a check book in denominations of €10, €20, €25 and €50 (Classic holiday vouchers);
  • or in a dematerialized version for online use only (Connect holiday voucher).

It is possible to exchange the Classic format for a Connect format or vice versa.

What if you have holiday vouchers that expire?

At the end of validity, it is possible to exchange your holiday vouchers until 31 March of the year following their expiry for the same amount, excluding processing and shipping costs.

Holiday vouchers 2023 (Classic, Connect) and Sport coupons expired since December 31, 2025 can be exchanged until March 31, 2026 (exchange possible only in holiday vouchers for Sport coupons).

The process is carried out online on the ANCV website :

  • You must have a minimum amount of € 30 in the same format (Classic or Connect).
  • Exchanges to the Connect format are free.
  • Exchanges to the Classic format are charged 10 €.

The new checks obtained will be valid until 31 December 2028.
