Back to school 2025: practical tips to get into student life

A new version of the guide On your way to student life! was published on 16 May 2025 on the website of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. This booklet is intended primarily for students who are completing their high school years; it informs them of the rights and procedures related to student life. You can find a lot of information about for example:

• access to the stock exchange on social criteria and to other financial assistance ;
• the student accommodation ;
• student involvement (voluntary activity within an association, civic service engagement, voluntary work, etc.);
• sports and cultural activities;
• the role of the Crous (student catering, campus life, etc.);
• the possibility of finding a job, compatible with your study time;
• covering the cost of your medical consultations;
• etc.
