Comment faire ?

  1. Specify your identity information
  2. Specify the facts of which your loved one has been a victim (date, place, circumstances)
  3. Describe the harm suffered by the victim
  4. Attach the necessary documents

For your file to be reviewed, the application must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • Copy of your identity document (national identity card, passport or residence permit)
  • Documents to support damage that you are undergoing (medical certificates, passage into a medical-psychological emergency cell (PMEC), etc.)
  • Copy of your testimony before the police or gendarmerie (or copy of the complaint)
  • Police reports or attestation from the French consulate (in case of a terrorist act committed abroad)
  • Your bank identity statement.

FYI  

The FGTI assists you in the preparation of your file. They can ask you for additional documents (e.g. proof of income, copies of invoices). You can provide these items as you go, depending on when you have them.

Et après ?

The FGTI reviews your application and declares it admissible or inadmissible.

If it is admissible, he must pay you a deposit within a certain period 1 month according to your request.

He or she will make you an offer of compensation within 3 months from the receipt of your complete file.

The offer of compensation may be challenged with the FGTI Compensation Officer.

If you do not find an amicable agreement, you can refer the case to the judge of compensation of victims of terrorist acts (Jivat) of the court of justice of Paris.
