Warning  

Before completing the online form, you must have theinformation certificate handed over by the police or gendarmerie. This certificate must mention that the accommodation is not concerned by the search, as well as the date and address of the police operation, name of the service, number of prosecutor or instruction etc.

You must also take contact with your insurance in order to check the coverage of the damage (in case of refusal, request a certificate of non-coverage).

  2. Sign in to his France Connect account
  3. Gather the requested documents
  4. Complete the claim form
  5. Send online claim for compensation

  • Certificate of information provided and completed by the police or gendarmerie
  • Photograph of damaged door (at least 1)
  • Certificate of non-coverage of the loss by your insurance
  • Certificate of non-assumption by the landlord (if you are a tenant)
  • Duplex copy of your ID or a Kbis extract less than 3 months old for a legal person
  • Invoice with the mention of the by-law attesting that the restoration work to the same condition has been done
  • Title (for the landlord) or rental agreement (if you are a tenant)

FYI  

If a locksmith intervened at the request from the police or gendarmerie to secure the accommodation, you do not have to pay its bill. The compensation service will take charge of its intervention.

Et après ?

After examining your file, a compensation proposal is addressed to you.

After acceptance of the proposal, you receive compensation by transfer on your bank account.
