You don't have to give your identity. You only need to provide an email address.
What is a sentiment scam with online blackmail?
Feeling scam with online blackmail is a infringement.
It is, for a malicious individual, to approach a person on a online communication service and to express love or friendship with the aim of taking money from him under various pretexts (e.g. medical debts, bank debts, etc.).
If the victim refuses to give money, the perpetrator insists on blackmailing her (for example, the perpetrator may threaten to disseminate intimate photos or videos that the victim has allegedly shared with her).
What are the conditions for reporting on THESEE?
3 cumulative conditions must be met before you can report on this online service:
- Relationship must be virtual. You must not have met with the perpetrator
- The author must have blackmailed you
- A request for money must have been made. It is not necessary for a payment and/or a collection to have taken place.
What are the consequences of such a report?
Reporting is not a complaint. It consists solely in informing the investigation services of theThe offense and to provide them with information to identify the perpetrator.
If you report a sentiment scam online, you will not be kept informed of the outcome of your report.
