Application by post for a medal of honor for work: Côte-d'Or, Lozère, Savoie, Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, Mayotte, New Caledonia only

The request must be sent, according to the employee's department of residence:

  • Either to the departmental directorate in charge of employment, labor and solidarity (DDETS or DDETS-PP, formerly Direccte)
  • Either at the Directorate of Labor, Employment and Vocational Training (DTEFP)
  • Either to the prefecture
  • Either to the sub-prefecture.

We must consult the website of these organizations (or contact at least one of these organizations) to find out which one is in charge of the medal of honor applications in your department.

Warning  

  • If you are in the Department of Hautes-Alpes, the application is to be made online via a specific online service.
  • If you are in French Polynesia, the request is to be made using a form.
  • If you are in a other department or territory that the Hautes-Alpes, Côte-d'Or, Lozère, Savoie, Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, Mayotte, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, the request is to be made online.
