Testing eligibility for the 2025 social leasing aid (social rental of electric cars)

The vehicle must meet all of the following conditions on the payment date of 1^er rent provided for in the vehicle rental agreement:

• Be a vehicle of category M1 (genus private car)
• Be registered in France in a definitive series
• Being a new vehicle (1^re vehicle registration in France or abroad)
• Using electricity as an exclusive source of energy
• The environmental score of the vehicle must be equal to or greater than 60 points. You can view the list of vehicles with this score online
• The purchase cost of the vehicle must be less than or equal to €47,000 TTC: titleContent, excluding options, including, if necessary, the cost of acquiring or renting the battery
• The mass in running order of the vehicle shall be less than 2 400 kg.

The maximum amount of aid shall be €7,000 per vehicle over the term of the rental agreement, up to a maximum of 27% of the purchase price of the rented vehicle TTC: titleContent. This amount is increased if necessary by the cost TTC: titleContent of the battery if it is rented.

The lease agreement, with or without an option to purchase (LLD or LOA), has a duration of 3 years or more .

The contract must be signed from 30 September 2025.

He can run until 31 december 2030 inclusive.

The monthly rent is €200 TTC: titleContent maximum excluding compulsory insurance, options and ancillary services.

The professional may offer optional services. You can accept or reject them.

The trader must offer at least one vehicle model with a monthly rent equal to or less than €140, except in Overseas.

There's no no initial contribution to advance in addition to fixed monthly payments.

You benefit from a withdrawal period of 14 days calendars from the signing of the contract.

It is strictly forbidden to sublet the vehicle to another person during the term of the lease.

You must keep the vehicle rented for the period stipulated in the contract.

The rental contract must provide for the possibility, for a limited period of 3 months, to carry out a partial or total postponement of maturity or a partial refund.

The lessor may require that such postponements do not have the effect of postponing the date of return of the vehicle.

The rules for the termination of the rental contract are laid down in the contract, as soon as it is signed.
