Yes, since 1er October 2026, certain hygiene protections are covered by the Health Insurance in specific situations.
Only the cuts and the menstrual panties can be covered by the Health Insurance.
Disposable pads (tampons, disposable towels, disposable panty liners) are not not concerned by this reimbursement.
The hygienic protections taken care of must be reusable. It is any product, for external or internal use, intended to absorb or collect menstrual flows. It can be washed or sterilized and used several times.

This coverage is intended for insured persons:
- From under 26
- Or beneficiaries of the complementary health solidarity (C2S) no age requirement.
- If you are under 26 years of age, the coverage by the Health Insurance is 60%.
- If you are a beneficiary of the complementary health insurance (C2S), the coverage by the Health Insurance is 100%.
It is possible to benefit every year of the support of 2 products reusable periodic protection systems.
The annual period taken into account shall begin on the date of 1era deliverance.
