Income tax: 2026 income tax return for 2025

This page is up to date with the finance law for 2026 published in the Official Journal of 20 February.

However, forms, online services and information materials are not yet available for the 2026 tax year of the 2025 tax return. They will be put online as soon as they are available.

The declaration of income by internet is mandatory if your main residence has internet access and you are able to file your declaration online.

The 2025 online tax return begins on April 9, 2026.

The deadline varies depending on whether you file your return online or on paper.

2025 Online 2024 Revenue Report (Public Finance area)

The tax return must be filed before tuesday 19 may 2026 at 23:59, including for French residents abroad.
