How to obtain the declaration receipt for the creation of an association?

The rules differ depending on whether the association has its registered office in Alsace-Moselle or somewhere else.
General case
After studying the declaration of creation, the registry of associations of the prefecture of the department in which your association's headquarters is located issues a receipt. The rest depends on the reporting method chosen:

If the reporting process was carried out online, the association's officials can consult their messages in the association account.

This receipt is sent to you by email.
You need to check your e-mail, including your junk e-mails (spam) in which the receipt could be classified.
The declaration of creation of the association was made by mail
If the association's officials have submitted the declaration by post using the paper form, this receipt shall be sent by post.
FYI
Due to the large number of files received, it may be that the time limit for issuing the receipt, set in the texts at 5 days, is longer in some prefectures.
After 3 or 4 weeks, if no response is received, the association's managers can contact the association's registry in the department in which the association's head office is located.

Associations located in Alsace-Moselle receive from the court registry a receipt, in paper format, generally in 5 days which follow their declaration of creation.
