What is the term of office of an association president?

There is no statute that sets out the term of office of the president of an association. The law does not provide for a minimum or maximum term of office.

These are the statutes which set that duration. It is usually 1 year.

Statutes may, for example:

  • limit or not the number of mandates,
  • specify the conditions for the renewal of the mandate (automatic renewal or after voting).

Information or clarification may also be included in the ₪ or the minutes of the appointment of the President.
